| Feng Shui literally means 'wind and water' in
Chinese. We all know how huge gusts of wind can feel overwhelming
but a gentle breeze can feel just right. Feng Shui recognizes how
important it is for our physical spaces to be balanced. Harmonious
surroundings tend calm and restore us. Feng Shui uses placement to
arrange your environment to positively affect your life. Quite often
this can lead to incredible results in the areas of health and
family, and increased prosperity and abundance.
Laura uses specific Feng Shui tools to enhance the placement of
all things in an environment. These tools include Chi flow, the
Bagua, and the Five Elements.
Chi is the Chinese term for breath or energy. One of the goals in
Feng Shui is to have the Chi flowing and circulating easily through
all rooms and spaces. When the energy begins flowing well, many
times new opportunities surface that where once blocked or hidden.
Health improves. Relationships deepen. Joy expands.
Another tool Laura uses is the Bagua. The Bagua is an ancient
mapping tool for homes, workspaces, and landscapes. It includes nine
key components of your life. The application of the Bagua to your
floor plan includes checking for any Feng Shui issues or challenges
and providing solutions.
The Five Elements is yet another balancing tool used to create
harmony.
